Guest John.medhurst Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 (edited) Okay, I've got Co-Pilot on my c550 so I know how to set up/add bluetooth devices... Or so I thought, until trying to add my bluetooth headset from Motorola. Problem is: My c550 won't find the headset. I've tried the old Bluetooth (on or discoverable)>Menu>Devices>Menu>New... Searching.... To no avail. I bought the headset under duress as to avoid the pigs giving me points or but'-fooking me up the ass for using my phone in the car. I'm wanting to throw the bloody phone at the wall now! ANY ADVICE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED Edited March 12, 2006 by John.medhurst
Guest pd.ryder Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 John - just gotta eat my roast and I'll be back to you. Shouldn't be too much of a prob. ;)
Guest pd.ryder Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Firstly, you need to push the headset into 'detect mode' and how you do that all depends on which one you've got. With my HS 810 I need to leave it all switched off and the mini-boom closed, press-and-hold the multi-function button in the middle until the blue light comes on 'permanently', then quickly open the boom. That sets the light blinking and it's in detect mode. You should be able to get the 550 to detect it now. Let me know how you get on ;)
Guest John.medhurst Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 cheers for the reply,.. still getting no joy. Has no boom, once on after pressing the multi function button it flashes like it oughta. Just cannot detect the device. Have tried it with my 550, a moto flip and moto SLVR none of which find the device. It's back to THE LINK tomorrow I fear. Thanks again pd.
