Guest swek Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 (edited) I've had my qtek 8310 for 10 days now, and straight out of the box i noticed the navigation joystick isnt really stuck in place. The stick itself hangs down about 1mm when i hold the phone upright, and it moves about 1mm in any direction before i feel contact with the phone. A sort of gap in all directions. Is this normal, or should it go for repair/replacement? I have asked this question before, but nobody seemed to understand my question.. Thanks! //swek Edited March 13, 2006 by swek
Guest fluffcat1 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Normal methinks - at least I had it on my qtek / vodafone v1240 before I sent it back... Richard

Richard <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your post is somewhat contradicting. You say you had it on your qtek, but then you sent it back. Was the gap gone after that? or did you send the phone back for good?

Was the gap gone after that? or did you send the phone back for good? It's not contradicting at all. I *had* it on my Qtek ( past tense, it *was* there, but I can't use present tense as I no longer have the unit), *before* I sent it back (again, past tense as I no longer have the unit and the problem was evident. If it was there *after* I sent it back I wouldn't know about it, would I? ;) ) but I did not send it back *for this issue* or I would have included that as being relevant... Do a search, many people have also mentioned this already. Richard
Guest snuffy Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 We have two SP5's here for testing and they are the same, with a wiggly joystick ;) (The joystick is a lot better than my K750i!!!)
