Guest eyesi Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 I've just upgraded from a Sony-Ericsson P900 to a T-Moble MDA Vario running WM5.0 and I have a Plantronics M3000 Bluetooth headset. I'm used to just tapping the button on the headset and speaking the voicedial command to get a connection on the Sony Ericsson. This doesn't appear to work with WM5.0 Any ideas how to make this work? - at the moment it seems like a retrograde step! Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know how to start or stop the function. -Chris Edited March 14, 2006 by tofergregg

What you have to do is press and hold the button on the BT headset until the voice speed dial application starts - this can take two or three seconds depending on how quickly the voice speed dial application takes to fire up. It sees to work well once you know that. Before with the sony ericsson all you had to do was a quick tap the BT headset button and wait for a beep before speaking the voice tag. It just a different way of working. Why on earth this kind of simple instruction isn't covered in the user guide I can only imagine. I've spend a good few hours trawling forums like this looking for an answer. Never mind, I'm sure I've learned some other stuff in the process.
