Guest dleasman Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 I have a t-mobile SDA and am having a problem with mms attachments. I have a voicemail server at home that automatically e-mails voicemails to my phone by attaching a .wav file. On my 2 typhoon phones (qtek 8010 & audiovox smt5600) this worked fine. But on the SDA, the attachment downloads, but when I play the message, the there is no sound (the wav is not playing properly). If I view the object, save the .wav, then then play the .wav using media player or beta player, it plays fine. Must be a setting burried somewhere in the registry that is keeping this from working, because it works just fine on my other phones, and I have already proven that the SDA can play .wav files just fine. Just not when they are attached to an MMS. Anyone know how to get this working?

Guest pankul Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 This issues is fixed with the latest iMate firmware. ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> really? cos one of the phones we upgraded firmware on (TMO SDA USA > imate firmware) was unable to get MMS. I did received the message as MMS, however it was not able to download it at all. I think it was a coverage issue, I have to verify that. (yes i was trying to download the MMS on GPRS only not wifi)

(yes i was trying to download the MMS on GPRS only not wifi) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All right I can confirm that the MMS does work on USA T-Mobile SDA, after you plugin the right settings make sure for MMS settings use Wap connection which points your settings to wap.voicestream.com, and not to internet.voicestream.com or internet2.voicestream.com or internet3.voicestream.com You may continue to point your innternet connection to the above accounts for internet access, depending on your internet access account with TMO.
