couple of questions and problems (c550)

hello, i have had c550 for abt 4 months and i am loving it...but i got some problems with it .

1) well i just Hardreset my fone.. because the SMS sounds werent working. just vibrate.after hard reseting it, my sms alerts started to work but when i tried to change it with 'RJV Ringtone changer' software its stop working and i can use only vibrate..changing from setting menu wont work either ... is there any other way except hardreseting i could fix this problem.

2)my active sync is not syncning any of my contacts.. its it because i am using outlook express?.. do i need just M$ outlook? and will thunderbird work?

had 1 more problem but managed to solve it ;) just now orange backup wasnt working..coz ididnt have credit ;)

You have to use Outlook to Sync your calender and contacts etc.

A copy of Outlook is on the cd that came with the phone.
