Questions about C550

Hi All,

Received my phone yesterday, quite impressed up to now but i have a few quesions.

1. Contacts, i have turned the personal filter on but for some reason it turns off, is this normal?

4. Can i reassign a button to go direct to new text message, like a nokia?

5. Can you rearrange the location of items on the start menu? i.e. my current broken TomTom is on the 3rd page, i find this (when working) more important than says settings.

6. Similar to the above, can you create shortcuts to task manager?

I'm sure i'll have more as i realise the potential of this phone, but if anyone can help with those questions for now it would be great ;)

4. When you recieve a new message (SMS), the right soft key, which normally gets you to Contacts, now takes you directly to your new message. Also you can use Homescreens with a new message function in it. So when you recieve a new message it'll show: SMS (1), and when you click on it, it'll go to the message. Try using the Windows Homescreens.

6. Yes you can. For example, when i hold the 2 key it'll go to Task Manager. When i hold the 3 key, it'll go to File Manager. This can be done this way: go to Start>More>More>Accesoiries, then select Task Manager (dont open, but select!) then push Menu. There is an option for Shortcuts.

but if you want to make a new sms with the right softkey then install this tweak onto your device

5. For a simpler way to reorder the start menu download a program called gStart (a start menu program) use Reorder feature and then when your satisfied close the program and uninstall.

6. Can you expand more on this, im not too sure what you mean? shortcuts where or do you mean shortcuts for taskmanager in a more usable place on the startmenu.
