SPV C600 on O2

I have an O2 contract and I had GPRS, MMS, etc. enabled on my Nokia 6230 and everything worked fine. I now have an unlocked SPV C600. Text messages, calls, etc. work fine but I cannot get the phone to connect to the Internet or send MMS messages. I have tried the settings from the Repository and have even had help from my provider but still no luck. Has anyone managed to get an SPV 600 working on O2 and if so what are the settings? I have deleted all the Orange settings but I note that all the 'connect to' options show Orange MMS as an option so I don't know where that comes from. Is that a clue?
