Guest apetrovic Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I have been looking through the posts and have not found info on how to change the bluetooth default folder from the device storage to a folder on the Min SD Card. I have a SDA running WM5. I have successfully changed the email inbox and attachment folders thanks to the suggestions on MoDaCo as well as unlocking the device and changing the G to an E on the Data connectivity symbol (really great advice on this site - really the only one that has answered all of my questions, up to this point). This is the last change, for now, on my laundry list and I was hoping someone has found a reg edit or if there is an application out there that allows you to choose where you would like to store your incoming file (bluetooth or IR). Thanks for the help. A

I did take a look throught that information and I tried it in the past and yes you are right it did not work for me. I know that I tried it in the past because I remember your picture (very funny). Anyway, the only key that I have in my Reg is a series of 0000000. Could it be possible that since I use FTP instead of OBEX for the file transfers that this is the reason it is not listed? And if so where could I find the FTP settings? Or are all files transferred through OBEX?

While in 000-000, I view the values, basedir is still not present but server is and the value data for it is obexinbx.dll, as mentioned in the microsoft website for registry values from the previous link. Is there an area to access and alter this obexinbox.dll or should I add a base directory?
