Guest Pondrew Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Server details to be entered in Messaging / MMS Configuration / Server: T-Mobile UK Gateway: 149.254.201.135 Port number: 8080 Server address: http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002/ Connect via: T-Mobile Internet Sending size limitation: 100k WAP version: WAP 2.0 Let me know if you also need the T-Mobile Internet GPRS settings (which are also required). Oh, and each mobile account (with any provider) has to be activated for MMS, something which customer service can confirm has been done for you...
Guest DJ Big D Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Great ;) Thanks very much for this, can you also give me the GPRS settings too? Thanks again & sorry for being a numb nut! haha. Oh also, can u put the size limitation upto 250K & If It says i get free MMS then I wont be charged for the GPRS usage will I? Thanks again!
Guest Pondrew Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 No probs ;) Go Start / Settings / Connection tab / Connections Advanced / Select Networks / then Edit (or New depending on whether you're starting from scratch or not) T-Mobile Internet Cellular Line (GPRS) Access Point Name: general.t-mobile.uk user name: one2one password: one2one Let us know if you have any trouble...
Guest DJ Big D Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Thx for that but Ive done all that was said but I still dont have MMS or GPRS :S I can see it in the Connections but wen I put my stylus in the [G] icon it keep telling me to create a new connection ????? Also when I select New MMS on the WM5 Menu it asks me to select an account but MMS is not there ;) It doesnt matter though I'll jus wait for the next T-Mobile Rom & hopefully that will do it itself.
Guest Pondrew Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 About to hit the road to Stoke On Trent for the weekend but will try and look into this when I can... we must have missed a setting. Did you make the T-Mobile MMS Server the default?
Guest redvers Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Why not get the settings sent to your phone automatically? http://tmobileuk.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst (linked to from the help part of the T-Mobile.co.uk page, of all places ;))
Guest DJ Big D Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Thx for your help all but T-Mob told me to d/load the latest ROM which I did & it has sorted the problem ;)
