The volume level on the Cingular 2125 seems a little low for my liking, both regular and speakerphone. What's weird is when I first make a call, the initial dial tone sounds loud, and then it suddenly drops its volume level. Is there any way to change this?

Also, is there any way to change the default pictures and video folder where they are saved? When I go to Start -> Pictures and Videos, it also goes straight to the main memory to look for them, so I always have to change the folder... this gets annoying. how do you change that?

Thanks!

You can add shortcuts to the folders in your memory card. It's pretty easy, you just need to make a shortcut (on the phone or using the PC) and stick the shortcut in the Windows/Start Menu folder.

Also, to answer billybob00, I don't think there's a way to increase the volume other than by using the volume level controls on the side of the phone. But, you can specify to have photos and videos save to the storage card. To do this, start the camera, then hit the Menu button and pick options. Pick general, then you can change from internal memory to storage card. I think the Pictures and Videos function will default to the phone regardless, though, unfortunately. There might be a registry modification that can change this, but I don't know what that would be.

I do know that you can change the folder where the pictures are stored in. I just want a shortcut to them in the Pictures & Videos folder. I know there must be a registry hack that can be done, but I don't know enoughi about editing the registry to try that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Okay, I tried adding a short cut in my start menu for the folder I have my pictures in on my storage card, and it didn't work. Any ideas?

I am not sure I understand the problem. If I start up Pictures and Videos, it defaults to the internal phone memory. However, if I pick menu > Folders > Storage Card, then all of the images on my storage card itself show up. I can then browse to any image subfolder I want. Seems like an easier route than editing the registry.

Also, I am a bit retarded. Shortcuts to folders don't work on the start menu, sorry for that bit of bad info.

The problem is all those extra steps. I would like to be able to add the folders I would like to Pictures and Videos, so that they are there by default. That way I don't have to go through all those steps to access them.

I desparately need a fix for the volume issue with this phone. Unless I am in a quiet room, I cannot hear anyone on this phone. Forget about using it in the car or outdoors, it is impossible.

I wish there was a fix for this too. I see you are able to set a screensaver on the phone when it is connected to a PC, but it only shows pictures from the phone memory, not the storage card.
