Spv c550 app error

Hi all,

This is my first ever post so I'd better say hello before I start whining for answerers ;)

Now, I have an unlocked decerted spv c550 and my problem is that when ever I install an app eg smurf, mobiluck or that 'art of positions' unlike posted screenshots of said app running mine appears in a much smaller window to the top left of the screen, the app its self runs fine but smaller.

Hope somebody can help, also this is my first ever smartphone, before this I was a die hard nokia fan. Thankfully I'll never be going back to that awful symbian os again ;)

There's nothing you can do about it unfortunately.

The software you are running was designed for 176x220 screens which was the standard for original Windows Smartphone. Your C550 was one of the first to feature the new standard of 240x320 and any programs that have not been rewritten to support this resolution will display in 'postage stamp' mode.

The good news though is that many developers are rewriting their titles acccordingly.
