Guest denisgomes Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Hello modaco users, I hope someone can help me sort this thing out. I have recently bought an iPAQ hx4700 and I'm trying to set up an internet connection with the MPx220 through bluetooth. Here's what is happening (all of these through bluetooth): - ActiveSync from MPx220 to desktop PC works fine - File transfer from MPx220 to desktop PC and vice-versa works fine - File transfer from MPx220 to iPAQ and vice-versa works fine - Discovering the MPx220 from the iPAQ works fine - Pairing the MPx220 from the iPAQ works fine - Pairing the MPx220 from the iPAQ through the BT PhoneManager application do not work Specifically, pairing the MPx and the iPAQ for any connectivity purposes makes the Smartphone hang up for no reason after typing the passkey. The MPx can't finish the pairing process and after a long wait it says 'passkey invalid'. The iPAQ can't finish the pairing process and says 'device discovery unsuccessful'. Some time ago I found a how-to on Modaco on how to use GPRS connectivity through the MPx. Of course I have followed those instructions, yet the MPx is hanging up. Any hopes for me on this one?
Guest denisgomes Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 C'mon, anybody? I've searched the forum and found nothing yet. Can someone please enlighten me on this one?
Guest denisgomes Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 So, the problem disappeared after upgrading to Windows Mobile 5 on the hx4700. Thanks anyway.
