Guest Jimax Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 a) categorically, no. ;) all dependent on your price plan. This question is impossible to answer without knowing your data plan.

Guest Samsonite Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 i think in general, it is best to assume that GPRS activity will cost ya!! i have no idea how much data an hour of radio will consume but i'll bet its more than a few Kb!! I surf the net every day with my Magician (same as a T-Mob MDA Compact) and clock up about 10-15 MEGAbytes of data useage and that can cost anything from between 5-15 quid on top of the bundled data package i pay for... O2 are a nightmare for GPRS charges and i swear they get it wrong in my favour every month... but i aint gonna say nuffin now am i!! be careful how much the per MegByte charges are before embarking on streaming activity to your new toy - if you get caught out, the network will NOT be sympathetic to your wailings of pleading innocence!
