So what issues are you having you need to try an update? Or is it a case of 'it's new, shiny firmware, gotta have it?' ;)

Personally, I wouldn't! If you have the latest UK rom, then you have everything they are offering - without the regional/language issues!

Just check your UK rom to see if you have media player 10 etc and I think you can forget about the rom (by the way - its Swiss)

I have updated my SPV M500 using the Swiss ROM upgrade and apart from having to set to UK language via Regional Settings it works fine. Of course if you use internet explorer all the favourites are to swiss sites but it is no problem to add your own!

What about software? Does the rom have the same stuff as the UK rom?
