You run the exe on your pc, with the device attached via activesync, and the application installs automatically (via prompts) on the Pocket pc
Guest Madeye Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Full .exe files usually (I stress that word) signify a PC based installer program. You run the exe on your pc, with the device attached via activesync, and the application installs automatically (via prompts) on the Pocket pc <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If it's not one of the "usually" .exe's then it is usually (I also stress that word) a 'green' or 'clean' software... meaning it doesn't need installing at all, it just needs to be copied to your PPC and run whenever needed. The windows install is more likely but if it isn't then you can copy it to anywhere but I'd suggest /windows/start menu/games. Similarly, if you download a .cab game/program you just copy that to anywhere on your phone and run it. It will install and delete itself so the location is irrelevant!
