I am close to buying a MDA Vario with Tmobz on their Flext tariff. However, I was just doing a "compare" of the T-Mobile MDA Compact II Graphite CP, T-Mobile MDA Compact II Graphite and T-Mobile MDA Vario (with Co-Pilot Software) but fail to see any distinguishing difference in features. Ok in another thread of mine I had it cleared up that the MDA Vario does have vibration, but see not much else differing between the three. Is this because of the lack of info on T-mobiles website, or is there really just very little difference, bar the slight size difference?

Any advice always muchly appreciated!!

Cheers

The MDA Vario has a slide out keyboard which is very usable. Also, according to the T-Mobile website the MDA Vario doesn't have handsfree, vibrating alert and voice activated dialling - all of which is untrue - my MDA Vario has all of this.

Check out a review of it's i-mate equivalent (the K-jam) here:

And the MDA Compact II here:-

Hope this helps

The comparison at http://gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=1257&idPhone1=1255 is a little misleading as it quotes the MDA Compact II as being a Windows Pocket PC 2003 SE device whereas the T-Mobile model definitely runs Windows Mobile 5.0 (as does the MDA Vario)

Oh, by the way the Compact II is a tri band device and the Vario is a quad band device.

Hey cheers guys. Seems the QTEK 9100 is def a better phone altogether! And thanks for pointing out the WI-FI! A huge attraction to get this model....

Time to make a worthy purchase (i hope!)
