Guest mike-oh Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 (edited) Appologies if i'm months behind the times but i got this mentioned to me early today and have just tried it out. www.pandora.com Essentially you tell it an artist/track you like and it creates an internet radio station based around your preferences! Blooody brilliant! ;) oh and the key words IT'S FREE! i did search the forum but found no mention of it PS: you should also be resident in the US.....ahem Edited March 22, 2006 by mike-oh
Guest fraser Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 That is very very cool. I use the net a lot to find new bands etc and this is right up my street. I hit it with obscure Austrian electonica (Dzihan & Kamien) and it came back with a whole lot of stuff, 50% I'd heard of before and was relevant.

Guest FragMeister Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 I've been using this for ages (i just put in the zip code for "pandora" i found in the FAQ section (a bit further down from the bit saying you need to be in the US) ;) Infact, I have just remembered that my tagline on modaco is a link to create your own "station". Enjoy!
Guest xda_gangsta Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 wow ya right, thats pretty damn neat if it finds online radio stations that are playing the song.. wow now I can't believe it! lol But I still think MP3 is the way to go ;)
Guest sweetswede Posted March 25, 2006 Report Posted March 25, 2006 would be great if it could play on the phone..

Guest fraser Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 would be great if it could play on the phone.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It *almost* works on my Blue Angel (PPC) phone. Gets to about 80% of loading and hangs. It's just a flash application, so it should work.
