spv c600 and activesync

Hi

I have just upgraded form a C500 to a C600. Using activesync to Outlook on the C500 I was able to change the settings to filter the contacts to be included. i.e. I have 500+ contacts in Outlook, but only want 200 in the phone. I did this using a category of "mobile" and only synced contacts with this category.

When I sync the C600 it copies everything across, and the settings button is greyed out for contacts, (it is active for calendars).

This is a rela pain - any ideas how to get round this?
