Guest Tech Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 nope, thats the on off button ;) replace it - give it to orange (if you have had it insured) and they will send it off for repair or you could maybe glue it back together?!

You may just be able to just replace the button pusher in the fascia. nope, thats the on off button ;) replace it - give it to orange (if you have had it insured) and they will send it off for repair or you could maybe glue it back together?! Not necessarily, if there is a 'hole' in the casing then the button *pusher* is missing, the button itself is further inside the phone on the mainboard and it's unlikely ( although possible) that this has broken away unless the phone has had a serious drop - if so and that is all that has broken then it's got off lightly... If the button switch *has* come off the board, gluing it isn't going to help at all, if you glue the button pusher back in it won't,er,push anymore as it needs to pivot freely to 'push'..... Richard
