Guest alinkent Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Looks like the new WM5.2 ROM has finally added ability to synchronize with an Exchange Server via a secure SSL connection. A very good thing! I've sucessfully sync'd via both WiFi and EDGE to my company's Exchange Server using a secured SSL connection from my phone. Something to note. When installing the certificate on your device for SSL sync, you must install the root (top level) certificate. Installing just your company or individual certificate won't work so navigate up the certificate tree to the top level certificate (Verisign or Add_Trust for instance). Push email seems to work flawlessly for me so far! I'll wait a few days to make a final judgement on that, but hopefully can finally cancel my $10 unlimted SMS add-on.
Guest roma0803 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 (edited) Hi alinkent. Since a lot of people here (like myself) are curious how to get Push to work on device side, could you be a bit more specific how you enabled that service exactly to work? Thanks. Edit: Never mind. Just enable it in the Comm Manager and miracles happen ;) Edited March 23, 2006 by roma0803
