Guest oturn Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Ok...I had previously changed to the NRE ROM to get the Edge icon, plus it had the bonus of having a wireless LAN utility in the Windows folder, wlanutil.exe. Now the Edge icon works on the new WWE ROM, and wlanutil.exe doesn't seem to be present in either! The new WWE version is 2.5.331.2, and the NRE version is 2.5.333.1. Does the slightly higher NRE version really mean anything? Any benefit of using one over the other??
