SP5m and AS 4.1 issue

Hi. this is a wierd one.

I had this issue before and I thnk I had to uninstall and reinstall AS 4.1 but even now just upgraded my ROM last night for the SP5m, I get the issue right now for the first time.

I have been able to successfully Activesync the device via USB AND bluetooth no problem but just now I get the error again:

when connecting activesync on the mobile device I get the error:

"To synchronize this device, you must install ActiveSync 4.1 or higher on your desktop computer"

but it has always been 4.1 on my desktop computer.

does anyone know why I get this ??
