SPV M600 doesn't include Pocket MSN!

I don't think anyone has mentioned this but I received the M600 yesterday and it doesn't have Pocket MSN installed. What this basically means is that I have to pay $19.95 one off charge in order to get Pocket MSN Installed and working!

So far I've been un-successful because I do not use a hotmail account for MSN Messenger and the MSN Mobile site doesn't let you sign up for non-hotmail addresses! What a joke!

So register a hotmail account, sign up, get the software and then set it up using your non-hotmail email account? ;-)

Or download IM+....

How did you manage to get hold of a m600 so quickly?

It doesn't work like that, when you sign up you sign up for that ID to use the software. It seems there are two versions of Pocket MSN, one that is included for free on devices and does not have any restrictions whereas another which you have to purchase and download has restrictions for its use.

Like Paul, I'm reviewing the device for a news tech site (neowin) that I am involved with.

What you could do, is use Lokiwiz to set a SUPERCID, then flash the JAMin ROM which DOES include Pocket MSN.

I don't think that's technically allowed tho ;)

And as such maybe it shouldn't be being discussed?....careful, a mod might lock the topic or edit the post!
