Guest Brcobrem Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Hi, Other than Regedit_STG, is there any way to "poke" keys and values into the registry on the Cingular/HTC 2125 running Windows Mobile v5 ? It doesn't seem to have an association for ".reg" files (ie. no way to do a typical XP style "merge" of a ".reg" file). Thanks, Brcobrem
Guest merwin Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 I would try a very small and pointy stick ;) Seriously though, you have to enter the values manually. There is no "import" feature in it
Guest chucky.egg Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 If you get Resco Explorer (I think there's a demo version) then it associates the .reg files and you can import them with that
Guest Brcobrem Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Hi merwin, Humor is good, especially on Friday afternoon. I recall the late '70's or early '80's when "peek" and "poke" were terms used to descibe retrieving or inserting values in a memory array. If my memory serves me right, Commodore's PET BASIC used those terms. Thanks for your advice :-)
Guest Brcobrem Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Hi chucky.egg, Thanks for the referral to Resco. I just downloaded the demo and will try it out. What I'm attempting is to make Start Menu shortcuts to .reg files . One reg file to turn something on, and another reg file to turn something off. Regards, Brcobrem
