hey there all i am still relatively new to this and all... i've recently downloaded some of the home screens from the downloads section, ive seemed to get some of them to work and some of them dont work at all... the ones that do work are just .CAB files , and the ones that dont work are XML files, i was wondering how can i get the XML files to work... also where do the themes install to i cant seem to find where they are to delete them off my storage on my phone... and one last thing is that the themes dont seem to work like the screen shots shown as they are im not sure if i am doing anything incorrectly but any help will do.

Thanks much

To install the XML fiels you must fire up Active Sync, press Explore and guide yourself to

Application Data\Home and copy and pase the XML and the background image/s there.

Welcome to the forum ;)

Skins you have installed from cabs should always be removed using the Add/Remove Programs tool, either in Settings on the phone or in ActiveSync. You will get problems if you change the homescreen before uninstalling in this way.

Xml files need to be copied into \Application Data \Home then selected in Settings, Homescreen. For fuller instructions check the links in my sig. ;)

Hi all I'm new here and I just switched from symbian to MS, but having a few issues.

Ok, I've got a problem. I've downloaded some themes/color scheme on my 8310/sp5. I don't know why, but I want to uninstall some of them and they don't appear on the add/remove programs. Has anyone have had this problem before and how do I remove the unwanted color schemes? If someone would be so kind to share some advice.
