I just bought a 1gig miniSD and was hoping to use it to store my files rather then the phone memory (which is poor and runs out quickly!). I can't seem to find any options to store downloads / bluetoothed files / etc on the memory card without saving them to the phone and then copying them over. This is time consuming and annoying ;)

Also, when the SP5 is attached to my PC I don't seem to be able to just drag and drop onto the memory card? I can only work with the phones memory? This seems a bit mad - am I missing something ?

Hi, Yes thats the way Windows Mobile acts when receiveng files thru OBEX, unless someone finds a Tweak to directly dump "bluetooth-ed" files on Storage Card, but on the MPx220, this can be done thru a Registry Tweak, not sure about SP5 as i havent tried it yet.

You cant drag and drop on your Storage Card while on PC ( Active Sync )? Make sure your Mini SD is not protected..turn it off, just like the 3 1/2 floppy works. ;)

By protected you mean a read/write switch? I can copy files manually onto the card from the phone menu, so I assume this is unlocked.

My card doesn't show up on my PC through activesync?

What's the registry tweak for bluetooth like? Does it involve much? What's the worst that can happen if i try it and it doesn't work ?

I dont know the registry tweak but here is the installable tweak that works on the mpx220

I dont know what can go wrong but I doubt it will work on your device, as i didnt on my c550.

(you need to be paired in order for it to have a chance to send to the Storage Card)

Do you have a read/write switch on your memory card?? i dont.
