Virtual Pool screwed after ROM Update

I tried Celeris Virtual Pool yesterday for the first time after the ROM update.

The controls are all screwed. The main menu lags behind my presses, it's always one frame behind the real state , ie if you scroll down to settings and click the joystick, in fact you are choosing the menu item under settings. (and you need another press to effectively show the submenu)

One cannot go past the main menu.

Occasionally the signal and battery icon show up from the homescreen, and if you get to exit the game properly, the screen remains almost black and has to be redrawed (like when windows 98 crashed and you redrawed the deskop by dragging a window on it ;) )

Who's the fault???

You make me wonder of what version I've actually downloaded...

I dl'ed it from a topic in this forum...

Why anyway doesn't it work? Its so strange for an anomaly like this...
