[help] Please advise on phone upgrade

Hiya,

It's been a while, and I'm a little out the loop on the phone front, so I'll be brief.

I had an MPX200 which I loved and broke - later upgraded to SPV c500 which is now due for replacement - the keys are sticking, dusty etc... My question is: Would the c600 be the best choice?

I am on Orange monthly contract, and don't want to have to pay for upgrading. I'd like to know if all the brilliant free software I have on my C500 will be compatible with the 600? Any issues unlocking? I use Orneta reader a lot, and task manager, smart explorer all the usual. Not bothered about music really, as have MP3 player for that.

Ideally I'd like to stay with Orange (keep my number and tarriff).

Any other smartphones I should consider? The 550? Is there much increase in functionality? Has anything been lost?

let me re-phrase my question. Any reason I should not just go get a c600?
