Guest kalim Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 A co-worker of mine is considering buying a smartphone from Cingular (currently has a very low-end Motorola) but she has gotten used to downloading Java games and applications to her old phone. I've heard that it is very difficult to get Java pps working on smartphones so now she's considering the Nokia 6682, which also has a megapixel camera. Does anyone have some suggestions for this? Is it really that difficult to get them running? Also, why doesn't the manufacturers do something about this? Thank you.

She picked a new phone that just came up in the Cingular line-up this week, the Nokia 9300. It's got a humonguous screen! Nokia 9300 Edited March 28, 2006 by kalim

It allows you to test run mobile games on your desktop. You'll need to have Java installed, probably need 1.5 for some of the mobile games. mpowerplayer When u click download, it'll download the player using web start.
