Sat Nav on a motorbike with a Vario

Is it possible to get a PDA mount to attach my Vario to my scooter and then use it with a sat nav system? I'm not worried about it being waterproof - I'd just take it off if I have to.

Cheers.

i would think vibration could be a problem...

if you get a mount that is a bit springy to absorb the vibes, then the screen is gonna be awkward to see... let alone mechanical wear and tear or, worse still, a complete dismount episode!!

not saying that it cant be done, but its a thought before you shell out 20 quid for a clamp type thing...

What would be cool is a HUD projected onto the inside of the visor!!!

How about just setting the system up and putting headphones in!

You'd just have the directions piped straight into your ears without having something to look at! I use this on my bike!

definitely the better option over looking at a wobbly screen... excpet the middleaged lady on my CoPilot 5 is a pathological liar!!! ;)

Everytime i join the M27 from the M3 heading East, the next direction (as i join the main carriageway from the slip road) is, 'Just ahead, turn RIGHT' !!!

I find that when i am heading somewhere with lots of turns (MK for example) the map is the only information to trust...
