Guest jutley Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Ok well have been using tomtom 5.20 on my spv c600 for a while now and its been working great up untill i updated my device rom with the new aku2 update.tomtom now freezes when you fire it up and if you exit it quick enough before it freezes you will see that you have to manually shut down bluetoothe aswell. Before the update you never had to do that.Well anyways to overcome this irritating problem switch your bluetoothe reciever on first and then manually put bluetoothe on then fire up tomtom and problems solved. No crashing works perfect and when you exit tomtom you need to manually exit bluetoothe. We will have to stick to this method untill tomtom bring a update out that fixes this minor bug just here to help i know alot ov people out there rely on tomtom for erveyday use and i would be really pissed without it.any advice reguarding tomtom on c600 please dont hesitate to pm me thanks again.PJ

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 It will work ok after using the 5.2 update that is available from TomTom but you will need to contact TomTom and re-activate your map again.
Guest jutley Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Yes it will work as the gentleman said with 5.20 but remember if you decide to update the firmware to AKU2 be ready for a few minor gliches as i described before
Guest spridget Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Here also, but when tomtom cancels i cannot switch the bluetooth off, it just hangs Wish i never upgraded to aku2 ;)

Guest ddavef Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Here also, but when tomtom cancels i cannot switch the bluetooth off, it just hangs Wish i never upgraded to aku2 ;) I just got hold of an XDA IQ and boy is it hanging worse than I am after a heavy saturday night! And I thought my old c500 used to hang a lot, this &%*^$ phone has died on me at least 10 times and thats just on the first day, ridiculous! Tomtom software with the 5.2 upgrade sucks, and I have the same problem whereby I cannot switch off bluetooth!
