Guest wrathyimp Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 Hi all, I was wondering if there is any app or software that can sync between PPC and nokia or any symbian phone, via IR or Bluetooth. I really would like to have such a tool on my PPC to help me sync nokia PIMs (sms, emails, contacts, calender, etc). Regards.
Guest chucky.egg Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 There is an app that lets you beam stuff from PPC to Palm, which might also work with Symbian, but generally you sync Device-1 with a PC and then repeat for Device-2 You can send vCard and vCal files from the PPC, but that defaults to using MMS (although you can still find the file and Beam it) and you'd have to do it for each contact in turn.

Guest chucky.egg Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 Sending contact and calendar items as files from one device to the other is probably the only way to do it. There is no device-to-device sync software that I'm aware of, let alone one that does it from PPC-Symbian-PPC
