Guest Laetitya Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 All of a sudden, my Qtek 8310 wont switch on. It stays on the Windows screen and never goes to the homescreen. What can I do? This happened all of a sudden without me doing anything stupid
Guest Crispy Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 Hmmm, sounds odd that it would do it at random. You can try a hard reset - that will most likely solve your problem. This is what you do; 1. Power off the phone and unplug it from the computer. 2. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys. 3. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys. 4. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default. 5. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only. 6. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4. Timing is sensitive
