Guest kallcron Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Just got a cingular 2125 when I go to turn it on it turns on and stops on a screen with a red, green, and blue bar on it with Tornado and some numbers on it. My questions is how do I get past that sceen to use the phone? Thanks

My questions is how do I get past that sceen to use the phone? Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is the bootloader screen, I believe. To get past that, turn the phone back off and back on. You could also pull the battery and leave it out for a short bit if just turning it off and on doesn't work. Also, make sure you aren't holding down other buttons when you turn it on. I think the camera button is what activates the bootloader on startup.

Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hmm sounds weird...possibly the phones firmware was messed up in the factory? if you rnt activating the boot screen via pushing buttons i have to think the firmware is messed up.

I'd exchange it for sure. Might make sure the camera button isn't stuck down; it probably isn't, but you never know... Edited March 30, 2006 by Snooginsguy
