Guest natsmith87 Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Hello, I recently bought a SPV e100 off eBay. It was locked to Orange, so I bought an Orange sim card. When I inserted it, all it says is "network denied, searching." So I bought a SPV CD with unlocking software. I unlocked the phone and put my Vodafone sim in it. It will show up as Vodafone, but I cannot make or receive calls. I have made sure the phone is not set to use 2nd line, etc., so I can't think what the problem could be. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Thanks! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah... That message you get doesn't usually signify that the phone is not SIM unlocked... That message means the phone's IMEI number is barred - i.e. reported lost or stolen. Not 100% about this, but that's my understanding of it. If you ring the network of the sim you are putting in, they will tell you. You can get your imei number under the battery or by pressing *#06#
