Guest Scott in Houston Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I have had my Cingular 8125 for a couple of weeks and have loved it. It's worked flawlessly in all regards until today. I noticed it wouldn't connect via bluetooth to my car. Then I noticed it also wouldn't to my headset. I go into active synch and turn off BT, but it just hangs. I have to turn off the phone and turn it on again to use active synch, but even after that, BT is showing as on, however again, if I try and turn off or go into BT settings, it hangs. Anyone else experience this? Any help? I'm looking for a hard reset button or something maybe.... Grrr... frustrated b/c this phone came with almost no documentation!
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Cant help you with the BT problem, but I can help you with the hard reset. Turn the phone off. press and hold the two soft keys while turning the device back on. hit 0 when prompted. If that doesnt fix it...bring it back to Cingular.

I did the hard reset yesterday and now it won't turn on. So basically, once you try to engage BT in any way, it hangs. I'm guessing hardware problem, so I'm going to return it and exchange. I'm literally 29 days into it, so I can make the 30 day refund window. whew!
