Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Is there any way to add a right-click control when I right click a file anywhere on my PC or Network to send a link to it via email??? Currently, I have the option to send the whole file via email...but I would like to just send a link to the file. If this can be done via a reg hack, I'd make a reg file and install it on everyone's pc so the can add thsi functionality. Thanks.
Guest nedge2k Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 This looks like the thread for you: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Q_21498458.html This may also be of intrest: http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/send_link.htm
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Thanks Nedge. I'm interested in the first link, but it seems you need to pay to get the answer. Do you have an account with them. Could you get the answer and paste it here? The second link involves me installing a file on each user's pc. More of a cheap hack. I want to avoid that if I can...but will resort to looking into it further if I need to.
Guest Matt Kirby Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 With Experts Exchange, just scroll further down the page to see the answer. It looks like there's only a page footer after the "View Solution" button, but scroll down further and you'll see the repsonse posts without having to join up. OT - but thier URL used to not have the hypen, so it used to be "expertsexchange.com" - useful for this post maybe: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ;)
Guest nedge2k Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 sorry, forgot to mention to scroll down ;)
