Guest johnnysoup Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Ok I've been reading this site for days and don't see this topic. I got my new SDA the other day and wanted to make ringtones...no problem so far. Only everytime I got a call I missed it. Turns out the ringtone is very low when I get a new call, even with it turned up to the max. So I think about it and find that all the supplied ringtones are 5 seconds or so and also are very quiet during the first ring BUT it does get louder with each passing ring. Well my ringtones are 20 second clips so I guess I only get the first low sound during the receiving a call process. Yes, I did a test and made a 5 second clip and my ringtone did get louder with each ring. My issue is .. 1. It's too quite with any ring at first and I still find myself missing calls. 2. I can't use a long ringtone as it is too quite. Can't find any info on if there is a way to fix this issue. thanks to all in advance!
Guest johnnysoup Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 Anybody??!! I can't have you all stumped
Guest johnnysoup Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 (edited) OK figured it out you need to go into the profile settings and choose outdoor for the ring to be loud from the first ring on. Its default is normal which is low volume to hogher volume with each 4 second ring. thx anyways! 8) Edited April 9, 2006 by johnnysoup
