T-Mobile Vario and GPRS question...

Hi guys,

I just got a Vario today with WnW Flext 35. Just been playing around with my device and I cant figure out how to tell if GPRS is connected or not. Any ideas? How can I tell if its using my house wifi or GPRS for data connections to the net?

Any help appreciated.

Its pretty obvious when it does infact make the connection!!

You worked it out by yourself (winks)

(for others... the aerial bars get a mini G symbol when gprs is in use).

yeah...What i was concerned about is this:

i was in the house connected to my wifi network. i fired up IE on the vario and it said you are about to go online on or something. And i was wondering if it was actually using thw wifi or if it was making a GPRS connection. I realise that if a wifi connection is available and connected it will always use that. If you are not connected to the internet in any other way only then will it make a GPRS connection.

PS:

Shad, I'm not really thick or anything...i dont want you to get the wrong idea, what with me falling for DUMB and Donkey...and now asking stupid questions like the above ;)

It's ok mate, it's cool - I have a special filter on here, that syphons off all the difficult questions from users, and leaves only the dumb, easy to answer ones, for me to reply to...
