I purchased a qtek 8310 online from ebay.at "OVERSEAS ELECTRONICS". Tried to register with Qtek and i get this crap about brightpoint and my imei #....so now one has to go is it fair that qtek is saying they will not support their own brand phones ..because its not purchased from brightpoint ? telling one: where to buy their cellphones ..and you now must must be a complete IDIOT to ask the people you buy your cellphone from "is your cellphones from brightpoint ? "or worse yet do you think the ordinary person will know this before hand? Totally ridiculous I say.you show support for qtek ..by purchasing one of their cellphones and they turn around and kick you in the face.So my point is this i will advise all people in the caribbean and wherever i can reach not to purchase any of qteks cellphones..and buy strictly from imate ..as there is no discrimination as yet as to imei numbers and distrubutors.This i find is totally unfair and ridiculous. My advice to anyone else is to beware as this is ridiculous in my view ....What do you think and say.let me know if you think this is fair or am i being stupid ????????

now i either have to sell my cellphone or try to get an imate rom ..which is not fair or legal.
