Setting the microphone gain

Hi,

I have the MIO A701 and it doesn't seem this device is coming with a built-in apps to set the mic. Is there any thirdparty soft that can be used for that? I'm using MS voice command, it works ok, but it should work even better if I could set my mic gain.
