funny noises when restarting exec

hi

i'm havin serious problems with my exec!

everytime i soft reset my ppc its starts mking funny noises the ones you expect when you've set a reminder or something it even has the orange blinking light,as there is no message or notifications i havent got the foggiest what it is. now i've checked all reminders all tasks everything i can think of whats setting it off but i cant find anything, now i used spb to back up my phone and did a hard reset. now when it started up after all the relevent install the phone was silent i

did the restore then i ended up back at square one, then i decided to only back up all the relevent stuff and not reminders or task did a reset but still the same, i've run out of ideas. a hard reset without backing up is sounding tempting but theres jus so much i need to back up that i want to do it only as a last resort, any ideas would be appreciated!

I have experienced the same strange sounds / vibrations when I've done a soft reset on my Universal.

I had attributed it to Alarm Today or Phone Alarm doing funny thing with reminders - I don't know if you have any additional software that ovverides normal alarm functionality?
