Update = battery disaster?

hi all

1st post in a while here... but..

Since my M5000 has had the latest firmware on it, there seems to be a HUGE problem (don't know if it's a coincidence or not) but I charge the unit, power level is on 100% and in flight mode. come back to the Unit (after leaving it off in flight mode.. not BT no WLAN nothing).. and the battery is flat as a pancake. something is really wrong here, and I don't know what to do..

Orange are sending me a new battery si we'll see!

Anyone else had probs?

Not heard of anyone else with the same problem, possibly just coincidence, hopefully your new battery will solve the problem.

Some of the older handsets take the current battery level as "full" when you flash a new ROM image on. The C500 and C550 had this issue, and its possible you may have the same problem here. If the new battery does not help, try charging the handset right up (8 hours, dont pay any attention to the battery meter) and then reflash the update onto your phone.
