Guest arawak Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I just spoke to Orange after they finally got back to me about the painful tone I receive when I call a phone that is engaged, call is cut short for some reason or I lose my signal. No surprises here but they have finally said my phone is faulty and I have to call HTC SPV Warranty line to get a replacement :shock: Took them long enough to tell me that though the useless g*ts! Also I queried the update and have just been told there is no ETA on the update so all those people getting told 2 weeks I would take it with a pinch of salt as they have no idea at all and just admitted it :roll: Finally, on another important note I asked about the alleged "new battery" that I was informed when I completed a survey for Orange would be available in January. I've been told they will call me back on this one shortly but I won't hold my breath. I'll let you know as soon as I do. Cheers A
Guest arawak Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I actually got a call back on the same day :shock: I have just been told that there are no plans for a better battery at the moment but it is "going to be looked into" in the future. I guess we just have to hope they produce one or at least sort out the poor performance of the current one. Anyway, I just thought I would let you all know. Cheers A
