T-Mobile SMTP Server

Hello All,

I have just moved from Orange to T-Mobile and got myself a MDA Compact 2. I am having problems trying to get the email to send ;) I have set the smtp server to T-Mobile's server (smtp.t-email.co.uk) but it just refuses to send. Does anybody else use the T-mobile SMTP server? Am I using the correct address?

Are you actually using GPRS to send, or are you trying passthru or wifi? The T-mobile server will only work on GPRS, and once that condition is satisfied it's unusual for outgoing mail to not work.

Thanks for the reply, yep I was definatly going over GPRS but it all seems to work now, must have been a network think.
