External ring source for phone

I only have a mobile phone at home and I can't hear it ring in other rooms of the house is there a way to connect the phone to an external ring source, so I can have ringer in multiple rooms? I havean Audiovox 5600.??

I would like to be able to do it but sometimes when I'm at home in my walking around in the nude I have no place to hold it, so can I hook it up to external speakers like my a regular phone with multiple craddles????

I guess you could use a 2.5 - 3.5mm stereo jack and plug in some desktop speakers if you wanted to. The phone will go into headphone profile but should revert back if you unplug it.

Much better to get yourself a dressing gown and some pockets, lol.
