I have an Imate Jam / MDA Compact which is about a year old now ...... I have been too busy for the past few months to keep up-to-date with things ;)

Have the new HTC phones been released yet like the Hermes, Prophet etc etc ..... is there any sign of a phone with built-in GPS receiver ??

I haven't seen any new phones on the T-Mobile.co.uk website - even the Wizard isn't on there ???

What would be the best UK network to go for ??

Cheers ;)

The TMob website removes handsets that are out of stock. The prophet is out on Orange as the M600. Apparently some TMob shops have Wizards in stock.

Best network, depends, current pick of the pack is TMob, for an extra

T-mobile + FlexT + Web n Walk + HTC Prophet = SWEET !!

How good is 3G coverage though and do you need the strongest signal to get decent Internet ??

According to there site I don't have 3G coverage at home but I do. So best to try for yourself.

3G at it's worst is far bette rtahn GPRS at it's best.

Be aware that the Prophet (M600) does not support 3G.....

Everyone who has read the thread in the news section has heard of the Pro version - or any of the many other threads....

The Prophet is EDGE enabled though - so with edge gprs networks (like orange) you get three times GRPS speeds.

Prophet = EDGE, not 3G.

Hermes (New vario) = 3G + HSDPA (faster 3G), and out on T-Mobile mid-year...

Mid-year as in May ;) .... or August ?? :P

Does T-mobile's network support 3G and HSPDA already ...... or will that be a lot later ??
