Guest HTC - Cingular 8125 Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I have a Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) which I have configured to sync with my Microsoft Exchange server. The exchange of e-mail works over the network and when linked by USB to my PC. I am able to receive and forward e-mails with attachements. BUT, when I create an e-mail on the device that includes an attachment, it sits in the Outbox and I receive an error when trying to sync. The message I receive says to delete the offending e-mail and try again. No luck. What is so unique about creating an e-mail on the device with an attachment, versus receiving and forwarding e-mails? Suggestions?
Guest Laser_iCE Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 How big is the file that you are trying to attach?
Guest HTC - Cingular 8125 Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 How big is the file that you are trying to attach? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Size doesn't matter! Really. I've tried 2k to 120k attachments. What I have determined is I could attach a photo, but Excel, Word and PowerPoint won't go no matter the size. I've attached from within an e-mail, to using the send via e-mail within each product and within File Explorer. No luck. I've checked Active Sync 4.1, and have the attachment setting at 500k. As I mentioned earlier, able to receive and forward ok. Just can't create! Which is very frustrating.
