SPV C500 Problems. HELP!

Hi

I bought a C500 today from my local branch of CEX and everything seems nice with the phone apart from it keeps randomly changing the profile to 'Headset' without me telling it to, this means that i cant hear or say anything with the phone. Sometimes it changes back to the normal setting with not problems, but at the moment it is refusing to budge and is staying on 'Headset'.

If it makes any difference the firmware on it is 4.21.1088 (Build 15045.2.6.0), The phone is also unlocked and im using an O2 UK sim in it currently.

It is a nice phone but this problem is really annoying me, 5 mins ago it was working fine and then it decided to change to headset mode so i couldnt hear or say anything.

Any ideas would be really appreciated!

faulty / stuck microswitch in the headphone jack. Common fault. Check remaining manufacturers warranty here:

as long as CEX haven't gone through their seal and it's under warranty they should fix it FOC. Or you can wiggle something around in there to free the microswitch.

or use it as an excuse to take it back and buy one much cheaper via ebay. CEX list them at
