NOT detecting i930 w/ WIN Me

Hello,

My windows ME will not "detect" my i930.

The computer senses the phone but nothing after that. Not even the "New Hardware Detected" window pops-up.

This has been an ongoing problem since my WIN XP computer crashed. I'm now using WIN ME. I installed activesync, drivers (from the Motorola/iDEN page w/ the help of Sprint tech.support) checked cables, swaped-out my OEM USB cables (I have two), uninstalled and reinstalled activesync 3 or 4 times, even fiddled around w/ the connection on the phone. Still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
